Brambleclaw- Father was Tigerstar. The first cat chosen to go to the sun drown place.was made deputy even though he had not had a apprentice. He helped all the Clans make their way through the mountains, helped to explore the new territories for all the Clans when they reached the lake, was one of the three cats to hear Tallstar proclaim Onewhisker deputy of WindClan. He also helped Windclan when their former Deputy Mudclaw attempted to take over, helped his Clan when they were attacked by badgers, killed Hawkfrost.
Squirrelflight-Made Brambleclaw take her along to the sun drowned place, Brambleclaw falls into the ocean she jumps in to save him,helps to persuade Firestar and the other leaders to leave the forest in search of a new home,Squirrelpaw,Sorreltail, Thornclaw,Rainwhisker, Brambleclaw, and Graystripe rescue the cats who were captured by the Twolegs, journeys with the rest of the Clans over the mountains once again, helped to explore the lake and discover the Clans' new territories with Crowpaw, Brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, and Mistyfoot,
Leafpool-is quiet and reserved unlike her sister Squirrelflight ,however her and her sister have a strange connection, they can read what the other is feeling, is captured by Twolegs while trying to figure out where Cloudtail, Brightheart and Mistyfoot went, saved the RiverClan apprentice Reedpaw from drowning, gets a prophecy from Starclan that says: Before there is peace, blood will spill blood and the lake will run red, finds the Moonpool, falls in love with Crowfeather, she will walk a path that only a few medicine cats have walked before, sees that Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight were destined to be together, has a dream where brambles are protecting the Clan, a sign that Brambleclaw should be the deputy of ThunderClan.
Cinderpelt- also known as Cinderpaw, was apprenticed to Fireheart,her brother is Brakenpaw, against Fireheart's orders, went to deliver a message to Tigerclaw saying that Bluestar could not come because she had greencough and strayed onto the Thunderpath. Cinderpaw was hit by a monster on the Thunderpath, and though she was permanently crippled, she survived because of Yellowfang's care. After recuperating, she decided to become the apprentice of Yellowfang, her leg would never permit her to become a warrior. was fetching a magpie from the fresh-kill pile for Bluestar, but it was rotting, and covered in maggots. Cinderpelt thought this was an omen from StarClan, saying that Bluestar's leadership was rotting away from the inside out,Cinderpaw became the full medicine cat of ThunderClan, receiving the name Cinderpelt She has a quarrel with Sandstorm because Sandstorm continues to take up most of Firestar's time.was in love with Firestar, and she never stopped loving him, making her unsympathetic to Leafpool when she runs off with Crowfeather. Eventually, she learns to control her feelings, and she warms up considerably toward Sandstorm later. becomes a mentor to Leafpaw. She received the fire and tiger prophecy while she was collecting herbs in the forest,was killed by a badger attack,has been reborn in Sorreltail's kit Cinderpaw.
Yellowfang-was ShadowClan's medicine cat, was exiled, became a rogue, and was caught by Firepaw when she was hunting on ThunderClan territory, . taken care of by Firepaw, she protects Frostfur's kits from Blackfoot, Yellowfang was then made the medicine cat of ThunderClan, having replaced the recently dead Spottedleaf as ThunderClan's medicine cat, first to know about the apprentice Cinderpaw's injury, the two develop a close bond. took her as a apprentice, a fire started in camp and her and Fireheart return to camp to get the last three cats, they had to sperate to find the cats, minutes after Fireheart finds her, she dies. Before her death, she told him that Brokentail was her son, and that she killed him, not knowing that Fireheart had watched her do it. she gives him his seventh life, which is a gift of compassion,catches Jaypaw eavesdropping on Leafpool while she travels to the Moonpool to ask StarClan who should be deputy. Later, after Jaypaw is apprenticed to Leafpool, she catches him spying on Mothwing, the RiverClan medicine cat. She argues with him, and warns him to use his powerful gift with great care. She is the only one is StarClan that knows that the eclipse is coming. She is also the one to say that StarClan is defeated. She also complains about the propechy that was given to Jaypaw and later shared with Hollyleaf and Lionblaze. She also says that StarClan should tell Jaypaw, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze the "truth".
Bluestar-starclan sends her a message that says "fire alone can save our Clan". This confuses her, as she knows that all Clans fear fire. She later is on patrol with Lionheart and his apprentice, Graypaw, and meets Rusty for the first time on his first journey into the Forest. She offers him a place in ThunderClan, which he later accepts. and later took Firepaw as her apprentice, traveled to Highstones to share dreams with StarClan. During their return, they were attacked by rats, and Bluestar lost a life which left her two lives left. Not wanting to worry Tigerclaw, she told him that she had four lives left. As StarClan had warned Bluestar, ShadowClan had attacked the camp in their absence, and in the battle, Lionheart was slain. She then named Tigerclaw the new deputy. After the battle, due to her defense of ThunderClan's kits, Bluestar granted membership in ThunderClan to Yellowfang. One day in her den, she revealed to young Firepaw that she had really lost her seventh life, not her fifth, When Yellowfang disappeared along with Frostfur's kits, Bluestar sent Firepaw to find her and the truth. Later, she gives Graypaw and Firepaw warrior names, Graystripe and Fireheart, makes sure that WindClan is found and returned to their territory by sending Fireheart and Graystripe to go bring them out of exile, during leaf-bare she comes down with greencough, a very serious disease. It causes her to lose her eighth life, meaning if she dies once more she has no lives left to lose. Tigerclaw sets a trap for her by the Thunderpath, hoping that she will die when she tries to bring a message to him, so he can become Clan leader. Instead of Bluestar, Cinderpaw falls into the trap, He later plan out a attack on the camp with a group of rogues. Bluestar accepts the newly named Brokentail into to the Clan as a prisoner, under the care of his mother, Yellowfang, until he is healed,tells Fireheart her greatest secret, that Mistyfoot and Stonefur are her kits. believes about Tigerclaw's treachery when he brings the rogue to attack ThunderClan again. While the other Clan cats are busy fighting them off, he slipped into Bluestar's den. He was planning on killing her, but is stopped by Fireheart. She exiles Tigerclaw from ThunderClan, and makes Fireheart her deputy,has become a shell of her former self. After learning about Tigerclaw's treachery, think that she can only trust only Fireheart and Whitestorm. When trying to travel to HighStones to speak with StarClan, she is stopped by a WindClan patrol lead by Mudclaw. This causes her to think that StarClan do not want to speak with her, and are at war with her, now grown to loathe StarClan, believing that they have betrayed her, when Tigerstar leds a pack of killing dogs to the camp she runs into the lead dog's side, knocking the dog and herself off the side of the gorge, and into the river. When she jumped over the edge, she did it because she, in that moment, knew StarClan and ThunderClan had not betrayed her. When she saw the Clan working together to drive off the dogs, she realized that none of her Clan-mates were traitors. She regained her sanity in her last moments. She was also forgiven by Mistyfoot and Stonefur, who finally accept her as their mother. She dies naming Fireheart leader, and telling him that he is the fire that will save the Clan. gives Firestar his ninth and final life, with the gifts of nobility, certainty, and faith, along with his leader name, Firestar. She then gives him the book's main prophecy: "Four will become two, Lion and Tiger will meet in battle, and Blood will rule the forest". During the battle with BloodClan at Fourtrees, she also explains that his body needs to recover from the loss of his first life before he can rejoin the battle. She also was one of the StarClan warriors telling him that there were always five Clans in the forest. tells Firestar about the mysterious cats he has been seeing. He was surprised to hear about the fifth Forest Clan called SkyClan. She also tells him that he needs to worry only about ThunderClan, and not SkyClan. Bluestar, Yellowfang, and Lionheart tell the new ThunderClan medicine cat, Leafpool, in Sunset that she will walk a path that few medicine cats have walked before. Leafpool asks Bluestar about three bright stars that she sees very often in the sky, but does not recognize. Bluestar informs her that these stars are of cats she has not met yet, but will shape her future when she does meet them.
Crowfeather-Crowpaw was chosen by Deadfoot of StarClan to be the WindClan cat to journey
to speak with Midnight, a star-gazing badger,was the last of the four cats who were chosen to
go on the quest . grew very fond of Feathertail , and became increasingly upset after her death, even running recklessly onto a Thunderpath later in Dawn. Though he was stopped, Crowfeather did not care if he died, saying, "I'm not frightened of joining StarClan! The forest is dying anyway. At least in
StarClan, Feathertail will be waiting for me!" confesses his love to Leafpool, and she received
this with shock, telling him that she couldn't love him. On the inside, Leafpool is relieved to
hear that he feels the same way, makes a plan with Leafpool to leave the Clans behind as
there is no other way for them to be together. Leafpool agrees after fighting with Cinderpelt
and going to the Moonpool, and they leave the lake, following the hills outside of WindClan
territory. They spend a night there when they run into Midnight, who comes to deliver news
that her kin are planning to attack the Clans for driving them out, and they only agree to go
back because they can't leave their Clans to be torn to shreds. He tells Leafpool that he knew
she would never give up her Clan for him, yet he still loves her just as much. has a son named
Breezepaw with the WindClan she-cat Nightcloud. Also, Crowfeather pulls Jaypaw out of the
lake, after he wandered into WindClan territory and fell in. Crowfeather returns him to
ThunderClan afterwards and speaks very briefly with Leafpool, who feels uncomfortable and
jealous of Nightcloud. Jaypaw senses the tension between the two cats after he saves
Breezepaw and Lionpaw from suffocating in a collapsed badger den. He knows Leafpool feels
some longing, too. The authors have said that Crowfeather mated with Nightcloud to prove he
was loyal to his Clan. WindClan attacks ThunderClan, Crowfeather is injured, and would have
been killed when Lionpaw clawed his throat. Luckily his apprentice, Heatherpaw, was there to
save him!
Spottedleaf-was the medicine cat of ThunderClan, and in the beginning of the book, she received a prophecy that states that "Fire alone can save our Clan." She tells Bluestar, the clan leader about the prophecy, and both are confused. She is described by Graypaw as a young and very attractive. Spottedleaf helps Firepaw a lot with helping Yellowfang, and starts to show affection for him, while he showed affection back. She later told Firepaw of this prophecy. She was killed by Clawface after she tried to stop him when he stole Frostfur's kits.gave Fireheart the prophecy to "Beware a warrior you cannot trust". He thought she was talking about Graystripe, who was in love with the RiverClan she-cat Silverstream, but it turned out to be Tigerclaw that he could not trust. Also, when Brokenstar and his rogues where attacking, and Clawface attacked Fireheart, Spottedleaf's spirit had been there to "help" Fireheart avenge her death. appeared to Fireheart in a dream, telling him "StarClan is calling you...Do not be afraid", meaning that he was being called by StarClan to be ThunderClan's new deputy, and that he should not be afraid of his new position. came to Fireheart, giving him the prophecy "Beware an enemy who seems to sleep", warning him that even though Tigerclaw seems to have disappeared, he is still a major threat. appears in one of Fireheart's dreams, along with Yellowfang, and tells Fireheart "This is a place where a battle will not be fought, and blood will not be spilled", convincing him to travel to WindClan, arranging a peace meeting between ThunderClan and WindClan. She later appears in another of Fireheart's dreams, with a variation of the prophecy she gave him in Rising Storm. This time, the prophecy is "Beware an enemy who never sleeps". gave Firestar his eighth out of his nine lives with the gift of love. She also tells him that he is to love Sandstorm. Later, when Firestar is pondering his decision for deputy, he seeks help from Spottedleaf, so he takes a nap. Spottedleaf tells him in his short nap that it was his decision, not StarClan's. appears in a dream, giving Firestar some information about SkyClan. Near the midsection of the book, she appeared to both Sandstorm and Firestar, and showing she approved of their love. She then appeared near the end of the book, and gave Leafstar one of her nine lives - "for healing wounds caused by words and rivalry. Use it well for all cats troubled in spirit". Soon after, it was revealed that she was related to Tigerstar. appears to Squirrelpaw in a dream, telling her where her sister, Leafpaw, is being held captive by Twolegs. tells Leafpaw that they have found the right place for the Clans to settle. Spottedleaf also leads Leafpaw to the Moonpool. When Leafpool is trying to figure out whether to run away with Crowfeather or not, Spottedleaf tells her to follow her heart.Leafpool is mad at Spottedleaf for telling her to follow her heart, believing that if she had not run away, Cinderpelt would not be dead. Spottedleaf comforts her, saying that her heart lies in being a medicine cat. Later, Leafpool spots Daisy's kits chasing a butterfly. They told Leafpool that the tortoiseshell cat showed it to them saying they could chase it. Leafpool thought they meant Sorreltail, yet she was with her kits in the nursery. Later it is revealed that the tortoiseshell cat was Spottedleaf and she was trying to tell Leafpool the truth about how Mothwing became medicine cat. Spottedleaf also shows Leafpool that Cinderkit is really a reincarnation of Cinderpelt. When Jaypaw visits the Moonpool he ends up visiting The Place of No Stars. He meets Tigerstar and Hawkfrost. Spottedleaf crosses over the StarClan border to come and bring Jaypaw back. She tells him he is destined to be a medicine cat. He gets mad and, and while sensing her feelings, suspects that Spottedleaf is in love with Firestar. appears in the prolouge of the book speaking with Yellowfang, Bluestar, and Whitestorm,
Tawnypelt-Brackenfur is her mentor . She also goes with her brother and Darkstripe to meet her father, Tigerstar. she left ThunderClan to follow Tigerstar because the elders verbally abused her. she is chosen by the former ShadowClan leader, Nightstar to be the ShadowClan cat to journey to speak with Midnight. During the journey, Tawnypelt gets bitten on her shoulder by a rat. the wound breaks open again, and the Teller of the Pointed Stones cures her with his own herbs.Tawnypelt runs to ThunderClan camp, and begs them to help her when the Twolegs are attacking ShadowClan.helped to explore the new territories for all the Clans when they reached the lake, and helped to discover her own Clan's new home. like Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw, is visited by Tigerstar, yet she is the only one to reject him. While Brambleclaw is watching she tells Tigerstar that he only became leader by twisting the warrior code out of proportion in order to get what he wants. She then tells Brambleclaw that he should stop listening to Tigerstar because he had been accepting everything they had tried to avoid since they were kits.She even tells him she was happy that Tigerstar was killed by Scourge after discovering the tyrant he was.Tawnypelt is a queen. has given birth to three kits, named Dawnkit, Flamekit, and Tigerkit. agrees to go to the mountains and leaves her kits.
